Who's afraid of new beginnings?

Hello, you! By the very fact that you are reading these words means that you are a reader of my new blog, 'Le Périple', which sends my happiness levels off the charts, I have to admit. As the title suggests, this will be my tiny space on the internet in which I can freely express opinions, ideas and information on the things that interest me: foreign films and literature, travelling, art, fashion and maybe some cooking too, why not. 

The word 'périple' is the french equivalent of epic voyages. No, not epic as in amazingly mind blowing but as in long, with it's ups and downs, which I thought would suit the topic of the blog. Some say lifestyle or what not but I think it's going to be more than that as I will almost document my life and more importantly my personal journey over the next few years hopefully.

Bear with me, I'm not going to be serious all the time but I feel like it's nice for you to know what you're getting yourself into. If you haven't been scared by this post, I think you should stick around!
