Ideas for Christmas dinner decorations

Hello lovely readers!

Christmas is fast approaching and so my Pinterest has been flooding with amazing interiors all decorated appropriately for the season. So, I couldn't resist trying my hand at decorating the Christmas dinner table and then documenting it for the blog, naturally.

On the whole, I went for a more simple, earthy look since I had the sandy grey tablecloth. You can add different elements or color accents such as maybe red napkins or instead of the green lynx you could find some nice branches and put some baubles on.

Inside the vase I put some fake snow which I bought as a powder called Magic Snow from Poundland. All you need to do is mix it with some water and it expands and starts to look a bit like mooshed snow. It's not safe to eat though so I put it in the glass instead of scattering it on the table as I wanted originally...you don't want your guests to die, even more so at Christmas.

These are actually Christmas tree decorations from a market in Prague (click HERE to see more info on that) that I've bought as little presents. They actually doubled as decorations when I tied them with some rough string and made a bow out of the napkins. Who doesn't love a two-in-one?

Cutlery and china is all from ZARA Home, the best home shop, a tie with Anthropologie.

Cute tealight holders I received from my form teacher as a secret santa...bit creepy, I admit, but they did go well with my table setting.

Tadaa! Final shot, all in place. Now you just need some nice home-cooked food and you're set!

Merry Christmas dinner! ^.^

Prague weekend break

I'm so glad to be back on my blog! Long time no see, that's for sure. Lots has changed since last time; my uni application is all done and dusted, I've finally finished school after the hardest term ever and I am too excited for Christmas. Pretty much sums up what I've been doing, other than gathering material for the blog for which I sadly never had time before now.
Anyway, back in full force with a travel diary of my weekend in Prague a few days ago. I really enjoyed it, it reminded me how much I love travel photography and I got to experiment a bit with my camera which although is pretty old and dated can still pull out some amazing shots. Other than that, I don't know what more to say other than than I loved the Christmassy atmosphere of the Old Town, the food is super tasty but really heavy and the Starbucks on top of the Palace hill is the most scenic I've ever seen...

Prague is known for the Art Deco and Nouveau architecture - pretty good example here
