London Art Fair 2015

Once a year I embrace the awesome weirdness of London Art Fair when I pretend I am as hipster as the art students that swarm the place. Scroll down if you want to see my try-hard artsy edits and ill-researched opinions...

Royal Academy Daumier exhibition

Excuse the very bad exposure of these photos; they were taken with my phone in shade...not the best I have to say.

This was some time back in October/November and the weather permitted my wearing the extremely mini tartan skirt from actual Scotland (that I shortened...oops) -similar HERE- with a slouchy Benetton jumper, Uniqlo men's sheepskin coat -only instore- and my beloved & Other Stories Bag -in black HERE. All items are linked, so click on them if you're interested.

The Royal Academy is always a good trip out - an obligatory stop at Laduree to sample the new collection, hot chocolate from next to the Le Meridien and off course ART! This time was the turn of French 19th century cartoonist Daumier. I loved the way the exhibition was set up but I wasn't completely won over by the actual exhibits...maybe next time!

What interesting exhibitions have you been to recently, I'm looking for inspiration ^.^

Prague weekend break

I'm so glad to be back on my blog! Long time no see, that's for sure. Lots has changed since last time; my uni application is all done and dusted, I've finally finished school after the hardest term ever and I am too excited for Christmas. Pretty much sums up what I've been doing, other than gathering material for the blog for which I sadly never had time before now.
Anyway, back in full force with a travel diary of my weekend in Prague a few days ago. I really enjoyed it, it reminded me how much I love travel photography and I got to experiment a bit with my camera which although is pretty old and dated can still pull out some amazing shots. Other than that, I don't know what more to say other than than I loved the Christmassy atmosphere of the Old Town, the food is super tasty but really heavy and the Starbucks on top of the Palace hill is the most scenic I've ever seen...

Prague is known for the Art Deco and Nouveau architecture - pretty good example here

The cutest tree decorations made from wood

A must see toy shop - all wooden

Keepin' cosy with my new Zara coat
Which happens to have the best furry hood ever
The Old Square with the most stunning Gothic spires

Crowds gathering to see the astronomical clock - the oldest working in Europe

A little bit of Baroque too

Fairy lights!!

And a cup of mulled wine to warm my hands up, it was freezing

This is me on every single holiday

A non-failed night shot! Yeey

Luckiest moment ever
More festive lights

View of the Castle hill

Is it just me or is the architecture of this Mango shop surprising?!

Inside the Clementinum - a must see is the Baroque library!

The last impressionist exhibition
