Discover: Thursley Nature Reserve

There's no more relaxing thing to do on a weekend when you feel like a pick-me-up (other than shopping hehe) than to turn your phone off and enjoy the sun, the air and the open landscape extending further than your laptop screen.

As a suggestion for a day out of London, I recommend Thursley Nature Reserve, a mix in between marshland, open fields and a sort of plank-walkway that reminded me of Scandinavian beaches.

Sissinghurst Castle

Just a quick post to start the 'National Trust' category. Whenever it's sunny outside or we feel like we need to escape London for a few hours, my parents and I drive to a National Trust home or attraction (such as bike trails).
A few weeks ago we went to Sissinghurst Castle, some 2 and a half hours south of London. It really was worth it, but I'll let the photos do the talking. It's too bad I can't convey in one picture how delicious the maroccan lamb tagine was...
