Varsity May Ball fashion shoot

Cambridge is known for the hard work but few keep in mind we also like to party proportionatelly. The epitome of that are May Balls when long dresses are the norm. Here is the editorial shoot for June's edition of the Varsity, photographed by Johannes Hjorth and directed by Meg Honigmann in the beautiful Old Library of St. John's College.

Are you keeping up?

If you haven't seen the fabuloussly interesting, very Harry Potter-y, slightly bohemian but certainly not #selfie type updates on my Instagram, then you my friend are missing out! More chai lattes, photos of my messy desk the day before an essay deadline and pretty landscapes from Cambridge are to come so don't you be left behind ^.^

P.S - a link to my Instagram account is in the social media buttons at the top of the page or just type in 'anapersinaru' and all should be a-ok

Grantchester day trip

Wanting to escape my desk and the same pinboard from where my to-do-list stares back at me 24/7, I took my bike out for a countryside test drive and had the most relaxing hours in the sunshine since October. Highly recommend for some precious quiet state of mind.

Making an effort for fall

Dressing for the ocassion on a busy day of lectures, supervision and procrastination. Doesn't that sound glam?

Fashion is a work of art

I cannot express the amount of love I have for my new bag! I did a little impromptu balcony photo shoot in a spring inspired outfit to showcase it best but the changing light was just not on my side.

My outfit consists of a last season Massimo Dutti mint green shirt, a Benetton knitted long jumper, Oliver Bonas feather necklace and black leggings. The tan-peach Gianni Conti bag did most of the talking though.

I got it from the Cambridge TKMaxx...I was meant to be at a post offer open day but somehow ended up doing a little shopping, that never happens! (sense the sarcasm) I really recommend it for bags, they have a great selection. I can see it being filled with tons of books, folders and my laptop for a day around campus or as a weekend bag because it can fit a whole three outfits which is a real feat.
